WALL- E

I never watch the movie WALL-E, but the trailer impressed me and hooks me up. There are bunch of various versions trailers for the movie, and I was confused by some of them. Those trailer are presenting the robot, Wall-E was the only living thing that ever exist on the planet with piles of trash. As the background music is playing with a minor tone, I sort of assuming the movie WALL-E will be somehow a touching movie with a sadness story. However, there is another trailer presents another scene of the movie- Wall-E was brought to another world, where everyone was obese, and lived along with the hover chairs. Everyone lives in that planet looks the same, they drink the same drink, eat the same food, wear the same clothing, picking the same colour, and THEY NEVER MOVE!

In that society, seems like people do not have their own thinking, they do not need to do anything, even walk! There was a boy who fall from the chair because of Wall-E’s speeding, and once he fall on the floor, he didn’t attempt to stand up and go back to his seat, instead he just lay on the floor and wait until another robots come to pick him up. Another example to proof they do not have the ability to think is when the commercial suggesting pink is the best colour for that season, EVERY SINGLE ONE in the area just push a button on the chair, and turn themselves become pink! People who live in that society are lazy.

As the life in the 21st century, everyone are required to work hard for money, for life which impact people always imagine and wish to be lazy and just enjoy their life. This is why the movie WALL-E tried to film out a brand new environment and to emphasize the possible negative consequence for being lazy in order to alert the modern people to stay in reality.
